Jennifer Amendola

Professional Experience

Jennifer’s career began with a focus on creating and managing GIS databases, a skill she developed as a GIS Analyst at Utility Pipeline Ltd., where she worked for six years. There, she managed the mapping department, established geodatabases, and ensured natural gas systems operated efficiently by creating user-friendly maps and maintaining datasets across Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

She then joined 6as a Senior GIS Analyst, where she spent seven years mapping well boundaries, plotting survey descriptions from the 1850s to the present, and managing web services on ArcGIS Online (AGOL).

Currently serving as GIS Manager at Halo, Jennifer continues to excel in managing complex GIS projects. She also creates detailed exhibit maps for electric infrastructure projects and ensures new initiatives are set up with accurate data and parcel information across several states, including Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, and Texas. 

Beyond the Desk

When she’s not immersed in mapping and data, Jennifer finds joy in hiking and birdwatching. Her cat, Harvey, is her birding companion, often watching alongside her from their Ohio home. A lover of the ocean, Jennifer treasures the time she spent living in Miami, FL, but she’s quick to appreciate Ohio’s offerings.

Jennifer’s passion for meteorology keeps her engaged in tracking weather developments across the country, and she dreams of one day embarking on a storm-chasing vacation.

For Jennifer, the best part of her career is the relationships she’s built with coworkers. Having collaborated with many of her current colleagues in previous roles, she values the trust, camaraderie, and teamwork that have grown over the years.
